Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply to new orders placed under them. Existing orders remain governed by their agreed terms and mandatory law.
1. Supplier and scope
YachtAsk is operated by VALENCIA Marine Services S.L.U., NIF B06827356, Camino del Canal 91, Real Club Náutico de Valencia, Bloque 3, Local 21, 46024 Valencia, Spain. Order and complaint email: ask@yachtask.com.
These terms concern YachtAsk online valuation services. An on-board valuation, survey or specialist assignment requires a separate agreed scope and quotation.
2. Available services
ONLINE BOAT VALUATION REPORT: one professionally reviewed valuation report for one identified vessel, delivered as a PDF, at the advertised price of €49.00.
BOAT & YACHT VALUATION + 30-DAY MARKET ALERTS: one valuation report for one identified vessel plus 30 days of relevant market monitoring and Telegram notifications following activation, at the advertised price of €68.90.
The total payable price and applicable tax information must be clearly displayed before the customer commits to the order. No extra service or charge is added without agreement. The methods and payment configuration currently offered remain unchanged.
3. Before placing an order
Select the intended service and provide accurate contact and vessel information. Read the service description and relevant limitations, check the total price and intended use, and correct any errors before committing.
The order confirmation must identify the service, vessel, price, delivery arrangements and applicable terms on a durable medium. Any acknowledgement that only records receipt must be distinguished from acceptance of the order.
Delivery time depends on the vessel, the information supplied and the agreed scope. Confirm the expected delivery timeframe when ordering; contact us before purchase if you require a report by a particular date.
4. Information and cooperation
Provide available builder, model, year, dimensions, propulsion, equipment, location, condition information and relevant documents or photographs. You must have authority to share the material.
We may request clarification where important information is missing or inconsistent. If the agreed assessment cannot reasonably be completed, we will explain the issue and discuss an appropriate solution, including reimbursement for services not supplied where required.
5. Valuation and report
We exercise reasonable professional care. The assessment uses the information supplied, appropriate valuation approaches and relevant available market evidence. A marine professional reviews the conclusion before the final PDF is issued.
The report identifies its valuation date, purpose, assumptions and relevant limitations. Advertised asking prices are not necessarily verified sale prices. A valuation is an opinion of estimated value, not a guaranteed achievable price.
An online valuation does not independently verify physical condition, title, liens, debts, VAT status, legal compliance or seaworthiness and is not a substitute for an appropriate pre-purchase or on-board survey.
6. Intended use and third parties
Confirm before ordering if an insurer, lender, court or other third party requires a particular format, inspection or professional appointment. Acceptance by such a party is not guaranteed.
Use the report for the purpose stated in it. Do not alter findings or present excerpts in a misleading way. Sharing relevant information with advisers does not automatically create a separate professional appointment or duty to every recipient; mandatory legal obligations remain unaffected.
7. Market monitoring and Telegram
Monitoring is limited to the vessel in the valuation order. The primary criteria are manufacturer and model; comparable vessels may be considered where exact matching listings are unavailable.
The package does not include unrestricted searches for additional vessels or models. Notifications may concern newly identified listings, asking-price reductions and other relevant asking-price changes.
The monitoring period is 30 days following activation. Relevant events and accessible listing information determine whether alerts are generated; no minimum number or frequency is guaranteed. The service does not guarantee exhaustive coverage of all listings or verified completed sale prices.
The customer follows the supplied activation instructions and maintains access to the designated Telegram destination. An activation or delivery problem should be reported so it can be addressed. These terms do not add automatic renewal or recurring billing.
8. Changes, cancellation and statutory rights
Requests to change the vessel or scope are subject to agreement before additional work is performed. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains cancellation, withdrawal and remedies.
Consumer rights are not waived merely by paying, receiving a PDF or ordering a personalised assessment. Any request to start work during a statutory withdrawal period must be explicit and properly recorded.
9. Quality, corrections and responsibility
Contact us promptly if a report contains a factual error or the agreed service has not been provided correctly. We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate correction or other remedy, without restricting statutory rights.
Differences between a later sale price and an earlier reasoned valuation do not, by themselves, establish a defective service. Professional responsibility for negligent work remains governed by applicable law.
No term excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, imposes a blanket fee-based liability cap or removes mandatory consumer remedies.
10. Intellectual property and confidentiality
You retain rights in material supplied by you. We may use it as needed to perform the agreed service and retain necessary professional and legal records in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Original reports, tools and website materials are protected by intellectual property law. A report purchase does not transfer source code, proprietary software or internal calculation algorithms.
11. Complaints, governing law and updates
Contact the email above or write to the postal address, identifying the order and issue. Consumers may also use competent consumer protection bodies and courts. No compulsory arbitration or exclusive submission to Valencia courts is imposed.
Spanish law applies subject to mandatory protections and conflict-of-law rules. Later website changes do not retrospectively amend an existing contract; the version supplied and accepted for that order remains relevant.
